What We Do
Our Foundation’s GOAL is to provide scholarships to high school students that are over 17 years old and have one more year left in the foster care system.
Applicants should show interest in beauty and skin care, as well as talent and determination to succeed. At the end of the program they will obtain an esthetician license so they can immediately start working in the field of cosmetics.
Our goal for the first year is to grant 3 to 5 scholarships in Los Angeles, then gradually grow state and nationwide.
To be accepted in the esthetician program a foster child needs to be at least 16 years old and enrolled in college. The esthetician school program can be finished in 4 to 6 month.
It gives the student the opportunity to be in a healthy and socially accepting environment, while providing a structure and a solid plan for the future. To become a licensed esthetician is a fast and lucrative career for anyone.
Graduates from the esthetician school program are qualified to apply for entry-level positions as Estheticians, Skin-Care Specialists, or Managers of spas and beauty salons. Additional careers paths include: Owners of a salon or spa, Product or sales representatives, Film or fashion makeup artists, Beauty industry specialists, Skin Care platform artists, Esthetics training specialists, Makeup Artist, and much more!
Tuition for an esthetician program with an accredited beauty school usually runs between $3,000 and $8,000. We plan to partner with community colleges that offer vocational studies at a much lower cost. Because of their low cost community colleges are overly booked but through our partnerships we can assure that our applicants will be accepted.
After completing the program one can expect to have a lucrative career as a Licensed Esthetician within less than a year.
